The XXXLutz Group operates 267 furniture stores in 11 European countries and employs more than 22,000 people. In Germany, more than 11,000 employees contribute to the success of the group, which operates 46 XXXLutz furniture stores and 39 Mömax trend takeaway markets. Martin Schierhuber, Authorized Representative and Head of IT & Telekom/CIO of the XXXLutz Group, explains the special requirements:

“The MRP solution must take into account the need for warehousing in different logistics units. In addition, there will be a reconciliation on a central warehouse and several lines in the different countries.”

For multi-stage scheduling, the company was looking for a fast-importing, high-quality and flexible solution, which provides high performance and very good planned orders and scheduling guaranteed. “That’s the case with LogoMate,” Schierhuber sums it up.

The goal is always the perfect use of all resources: optimization of stocks with high delivery capability, exact sales forecasts and planning decisions based on it. Even small improvements in detail can lead to enormous increases in returns in absolute terms and over a whole financial year.
